Lutterworth Rotary Presidential Change Over Day

Lutterworth Rotary members held their “Change over Day” at their normal meeting venue at the Greyhound Coaching Inn in Lutterworth when our New President John Howell took over from our current President Roger Rose who expressed in his farewell speech to the club his thanks to both John and members for their support over the past year.

The chain of office was duly passed to John with Roger wishing him a successful year supported, as he was, with club members ensuring that he had as an enjoyable and constructive year in continuing to promote Rotary and campaign for the eradication of polio along with our global ambassadorial teddy bear “Frank”.

May we as a club wish him a good and interesting time during our 65 Charter Year.

During the meeting A cheque for £1,500 was presented to Izzi Tutcher of Leicester Animal Aid and £2,000 to John Knight of LOROS - Roger Rose’s chosen charities for his year.
